In this program, he reads his heart-breaking story, As Birds Bring Forth the Sun, and then joins well-loved Canadian broadcaster, Shelagh Rogers, in conversation about his work.

I have read Mr. MacLeod's stories many times, over a period of 10 years. His characters and their sorrows never fail to move me, often to tears. It was a joy to find this recording and listen to one of my heroes. His voice sounds very much like I imagined, and now I will hear it every time I read his words.
